Starter Loans
Are you in need of financing but either have no established credit history or have had prior credit problems, El Futuro has a special program for you. Our loan program provides you the option to establish credit, while obtain the necessary financing to address your special needs.
You may qualify for a $500 starter loan with a maximum 12 mos. payment term. If you make regular payments you’ll begin to establish a good credit history which will be reported to the credit bureau.
Share secured loans are also available. The amount borrowed is deposited and frozen in the member’s account for the term of the loan. A member makes regular monthly payments to the credit union to pay off the loan. When the loan is paid off, the member will have the entire amount of the loan in their account available to them. If the loan is paid off successfully, the credit union will report this information to the credit bureau. The loan is also approved at the preferred rate.
