Regular Share “Savings” Account
To become a member of El Futuro Credit Union, you must open a Regular Share Savings Account. Although you must maintain only a minimum of $25, we strongly encourage our members to make regular deposits into their savings accounts. Not only will this help provide for your security and that of your family’s, you will always have collateral by which to obtain instant financing at the lowest rates. Remember, be prepared for that unexpected event.

Share Certificates are a type of savings account with a fixed minimum term and a minimum initial deposit. For fixed-rate Share Certificates, the interest rate is set at the time the account is opened and remains the same throughout the term. Therefore, there is no risk because of the guaranteed rate. Our minimum deposit is currently set at $5,000 and our lowest term is for one year. There is a penalty for early withdrawal before the end of the contractual term.
